Post by Raihan8 »

In content marketing, creating effective and optimized content is essential to attract traffic, increase online visibility, establish authority in the field, and also for business processes. Hence the need to always be up to date and aware of new trends in this field in order to offer the best possible content to your website visitors.

If you've been in this process for a while or are about to start, you probably have several questions, such as how much text you should write or how to use keywords appropriately. There has been a lot of discussion turkey mobile numbers about this in recent years, but today, based on the webinar New Google Trend: This will change the way you write content , by Neil Patel, there seems to be a consensus.

Should you write long or short content?
In the past, the length of web articles was a crucial factor for SEO. Research by SerpIQ showed that the majority of web articles on the first page of Google had an average of 2,300 words. Since then, many sites have been striving for long-form content, often neglecting the quality of these productions.

However, this trend has changed over time. While long-form content is still important in some cases, especially if we are talking about evergreen or pillar content , quality and relevance are now decisive factors. That is why, if you do a search on any topic of interest in your industry, you will see variation in the amount of text. For example, for the topic “How to invest my AFP”, the search engine ranks articles of 770, 649 and 333 words in the first places.

This shows that Google has evolved, valuing quality over quantity. Research by NP Digital validated the number of words required in different industries. As seen in the image below, none of them exceed 1000 words, which would be the ideal length today.
